You should have received a welcome email from SchoolDude with the subject line "Welcome to TechnologyEssential" asking you to set a password for your new account.
This is a legitimate email that was generated when our users were imported into the new help desk platform. The new help desk system, which replaces IT Request, features a host of upgrades on the front-end as well as on the back-end that will streamline support and ticket management allowing us to provide you with the best, most efficient support possible.
We will officially make the switch to the new platform at 3pm tomorrow, Friday, April 13th. After 3pm, you will be automatically redirected to the new platform to submit any support requests. Therefore, please set a password using the email you received yesterday at your earliest convenience in order to begin submitting IT requests using the new platform.
